Still Pray for Emma. Here is an Update!

Hey guys! Welcome back I hope everybody is having a great week. I’m Raegan, And I’m so happy you were able to join us today within the last few days we’ve had a crazy amount of yours is such a great response for praying for Emma. And I want to thank you all for praying for Emma. Prayer is so good and powerful. you’re just going to talk about how powerful it is.

Before we get to that I’m going to talk about how Emma’s doing for those of you who are wondering, she is still in a coma. This means she is still fighting, but guys we were originally told she wasn’t going to make it overnight the day she went in. But this does not mean to get discouraged. We believe that prayer can make a huge difference, so keep praying it’s making a difference already and we can already see it. So we can just continue to pray for Emma.

Now we are going to talk about the importance and praying right now,

Well to start, it’s powerful. We can see that with the story of Emma, right? She has been stable more days then the doctors expected. This is because God has His own time for everything. One of my favorite quotes is,

God is in Control Even When it Seems Like He Isn’t.

That’s so powerful to know. Because sometimes I know we feel like our life is out of control and so out of control, we can’t control it anymore. But it doesn’t matter because God’s in control and He has His own time for everything and it’s not on our time it’s on His time. And that’s one of my favorite things ever to remember too, and that’s why prayer is so important because we’re just having a conversation with God and telling Him about. What’s going on. God is so powerful, and if God is powerful then so is prayer. Because of prayers just conversation with Him which means He’s all-powerful so he can help with that you know the conversation that you just had with Him.

Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

This verse here is just telling us to pray on ALL occasions right not just in times of need. But also in times of happiness and excitement in celebration in all different types of emotions guys, it’s not just when you’re sad and when you need him. He’s always there, but guys, this means that we can pray to Him in time of need. We’re supposed to cry out to Him and that’s what we talked about a couple of weeks to talk about in the post called Patience. When we talked about Psalms 40:1

I waited patiently for the Lord he turned to me and heard my cry.

That’s what we’re supposed to do. That’s what it says in Psalms that says turn to Him and cry. Because He wants to listen to you He is a good, loving father to us. He is just there for us.

Everything is just in his own time.

That is how prayer is so powerful, I’m going to pray for Emma, and that’s all we can do right now because He is so powerful!

Dear God,

Thank you for this beautiful day. I just left up Emma and her family to You. I know you already know what’s going to happen and I know that you have a reason for everything. But right now you know we’re just praying for Emma that she can get help from. And just for her family to find comfort in you because I know this could be so hard. I can’t imagine having my own daughter you know being in the hospital in a coma at such a young age. Who is an athlete, it would be so confusing? but God I know you’re a loving God. And you’re going to be there for them and just help them find comfort in you. Help Emma no feel better and heal very quickly. And I just pray for that family.

In Jesus name, I pray
